810 Blogging Lab-Traditional Web Pages vs. Blogs

I was so intrigued with blogs when they first arrived on the scene a few years ago. I started out by reading my friends blog who lives in China. He has a wry sense of humor and is an excellent writer so I tried to keep moving on to other blogs. I soon found the Kitchen Sink blog, by a woman who is an excellent baker and photographer. Her pictures made me drool and her recipes and experiments with them made me aspire to become a better cook. Why are these blogs different from regular web pages? For me, they made me drool, think, laugh, they made me FEEL. Do web pages make me feel? Sometimes... But they also teach me things, keep me informed and on and on. The blog is a about a personal connection and a personal opinion. It opens up a discussion, you can comment and give your opinion back, and read others opinions, and maybe even the authors reaction to your opinion. That is the wonderful world of blogging, in my own humble opinion...

  1. I wonder if the Kitchen Sink blog is fattening. With me just looking at food adds pounds. :-) I might want to stay away from that one.
